A RARE ART DECO ENAMEL AND MULTI-GEM "TUTTI FRUTTI" VANITY CASE, BY CARTIER
The black enamel rectangular case set to the front with a series of carved or cabochon ruby, emerald and sapphire buds and leaves within a single-cut diamond and buff-top sapphire basket to the rose-cut diamond trim, with buff-top ruby, emerald and sapphire spacers, the sides enhanced by diamond and ruby palmettes and the reverse with interlaced diamond-set H's, to the multi-gem push-piece, opening to reveal a fitted mirror, lipstick holder and powder compartment, circa 1925, 9.0 x 5.0 x 1.5 cm., with French assay marks
