TAZZA COUVERTE EN EMAIL PEINT EN GRISAILLE A REHAUTS D'OR
ATTRIBUEE A PIERRE REYMOND (D. APRES 1584), CIRCA 1550-1570
Représentant les scénes de l'Exode, le couvercle surmonté d'une prise en forme d'anneau, décoré de figures dans un paysage de style naturaliste et portant l'inscription '.EXODE.XVII.' en lettres dorées sous la prise et une inscription identique peinte en noir plus bas, ainsi que les initiales 'P.R.'; l'intérieur du couvercle décoré de portraits d'hommes et de femmes issus de la mythologie, alternant avec des putti montés sur le dos de dauphins, avec une étiquette en papier portant l'inscription à l'encre '3119'; reposant sur un fût à balustre et pied circulaire, l'intérieur de la tazza décrivant la scène du Veau d'or, portant l'inscription en lettres dorées 'EXODE.XXXII.' et signé des initiales 'P.R.'; le revers de la tazza portant l'inscription peinte en rouge 'AR 369R'; et deux étiquettes en papier portant respectivementes les inscriptions 'G/H. ..' et 'UNION/CENTRALE/155/3671', petits éclats, éraflures et réparations

ATTRIBUTED TO PIERRE REYMOND (DIED AFTER 1584), CIRCA 1550-70
The lid surmounted by a ring finial with figures in a naturalistic landscape, inscribed in gilt lettering beneath the finial '.EXODE.XVII.', with an identical inscription in black paint beneath and signed with initials 'P.R.'; the inside of the lid decorated with male and female portraits of mythological men and women alternating with putti riding on dolphins and with a paper label inscribed in ink '3119'; the tazza on baluster stem and circular foot, the inside of the tazza depicting a scene of the Golden Calf and inscribed in gilt lettering 'EXODE.XXXII.' and signed with initials 'P.R.'; the underside of the tazza inscribed in red paint 'AR 369R'; with two paper labels inscribed 'G/H. ..' and 'UNION/CENTRALE/155/3671'; very minor chips, scratches and repairs
