The Centuries of Style auction realised a total of£4,204,500 /$6,428,680 /€4,919,265 and was sold 85% by value and 70% by lot.

The auction of Centuries of Style on 27 and 28 November 2012 realised a total of £6,936,975. The top lot was a pair of Dutch silver-gilt tazze delft, 1604 & 1606, which far exceeded the pre-sale estimate of £200,000 – 300,000 for £385,250 /$616,400/ €476,554.

The sale of Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes, which took place over two days, realised a total of £3,128,588/$4,849,311/€3,904,478, and was 69% sold by lot and 78% sold by value.

Following the success the 2011 sales, Christie’s is pleased to announce the that sale of Centuries Of Style; Silver, European Ceramics, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes will be held over two days on 30 and 31 May 2012.

The Centuries of Style: Silver, European Ceramics, Glass, Portrait Miniatures and Gold Boxes sale realized £4,755,700/ $7,775,570/€5,312,117 and sold 92% by value.
