Hong Kong – On 25th November 2019, Christie’s Handbags & Accessories auction achieved HK$ 39,851,250/US$5,118,691 with an exceptional sell-through rate of 93% by lot and 95% by value. The heated saleroom attracted global participation from 21 countries across 4 continents via all sale channels.

The top lots of the sale were A RARE, MATTE WHITE HIMALAYA NILOTICUS CROCODILE RETOURNÉ KELLY 25 WITH PALLADIUM HARDWARE, which realised HK$1,875,000/US$240,834 and setting a new auction record for a non-diamond Himalaya Collection, and A RARE, MATTE WHITE HIMALAYA NILOTICUS CROCODILE BIRKIN 25 WITH PALLADIUM HARDWARE, which totalled HK$1,625,000/US$208,723.
The collecton of Supreme and Louis Vuiton pieces including A LIMITED EDITION RED TOPAS MULTIWHEEL SUITCASE BY SUPREME and A LIMITED EDITION RED & WHITE MONOGRAM MALLE COURRIER 90 TRUNK WITH SILVER HARDWARE BY SUPREME sold exceptionally well, more than doubling their low estimates, fetching HK$1,355,000/US$174,043, which soared beyond its combined pre-sale low estimate of HK$542,000/US$69,617.
