From the Studio to Benefit amfAR

Following two successful years of partnership, Christie’s and amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, are delighted to announce From the Studio: Part Three, an initiative dedicated to raising critical funds for AIDS research through a selection of works to be offered in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale on 13 May at Christie’s New York.

From the Studio will present contemporary artworks that have been generously donated, including new works never before seen by the public, and have been sourced with the help of Michael Nevin, co-owner of The Journal Gallery. Proceeds from the sale will benefit amfAR, one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations dedicated to the support of AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education, and advocacy.

This strong selection of works will be sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale during Christie’s New York 20/21 Sale Week. Viewing will begin on 30 April.

With this third installment, From the Studio has blossomed into an enduring partnership and a highlight of the contemporary art calendar. We couldn’t be more grateful to Christie’s, Michael Nevin and the outstanding artists who have so generously contributed works in support of our efforts to achieve a cure for HIV.
