Christie’s is delighted to present Julians Park and Six Private Collections, two sales comprising a wide variety of works of fine and decorative art from seven English country houses, to be offered in a Live auction of 277 lots to be sold in London on 8 June, with an Online auction of 185 lots running concurrently from 25 May to 15 June. Estimates range from £150 to £250,000.

Works of art hail from the collections at Julians Park, Hertfordshire, the Desmond Heyward Collection, from Haseley Court, Oxfordshire, an East Anglian Country House, the Collection of Hugh and Marion Sassoon, Meonstoke House, Hampshire, Mr and Mrs David Wheeler and items formerly in the collection of Leontine, Lady Sassoon. The sales include Impressionist Paintings, Old Master Paintings, Modern British Art, English and European Furniture, Chinese works of art, English and European ceramics, sculpture, objects of vertu, jewellery, silver and gold boxes, photography and books.
