Christie’s expands online-only sales
dedicated to 20th Century art

Christie’s continues to expand its online-only auction calendar with new sale offerings announced out of New York dedicated to 20th century art in May and June. The lineup, including several curated, themed sales, will feature Impressionist, Modern, Post-War and Contemporary Art as well as Photographs and 20th Century Design. The sales will offer exceptional works at varying price points to appeal to a broad range of collectors.

Among the upcoming sales are Vice and Virtue, two dynamic themed sales that thoughtfully touch upon our collective reality during these disrupted times. These will be accompanied by Picasso Ceramics, La Vie en Rose, Form and Fantasy, and From Pictorialism into Modernism: 80 Years of Photography, to name but a few. Opening Thursday 30 April for bidding, Christie’s First Open sale features an important fundraising opportunity, with proceeds of a Carrie Mae Weems work going to the Center for Refugee Services and their partner arts collective House of Trees.
