Prints & Multiples

Christie’s Prints & Multiples department offers works spanning centuries of printmaking — a comprehensive journey through Western art movements from 1500 to the present day.

With salerooms in London and New York, our team of international specialists build sales of limited-edition original prints and three-dimensional multiples spanning from Old Master to contemporary works. Our sales feature prominent Old Master works by Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn, Albrecht Dürer, and Francisco Goya; Modern masterpieces by Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, and Joan Miró; and remarkable impressions from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, David Hockney, Francis Bacon, and other Post-War, Pop, and Contemporary leaders. In addition, our London saleroom highlights Modern and Contemporary British prints from artists such as Ben Nicholson, Ethel Spowers, and Sybil Andrews.

With a breadth of material and a wide variety of price points, the Prints department continues to provide superior expertise. In addition to live auctions, Christie’s Prints department also offers clients online-only auctions and private sale opportunities, providing our clients more opportunity to buy and sell on the growing international market.
