    Hannah Perry joined Christie’s in March 2020 as a Junior Specialist in Indian, Himalayan, and Southeast Asian works of art. She is responsible for researching and cataloguing works of art, her primary interest lying in Indian and Islamic painting. Prior to joining the department, she worked for six years at the Art Institute of Chicago as a provenance researcher in Ancient, Byzantine, and Asian art and as a research assistant for special exhibitions in Indian, Himalayan, Southeast Asian, and Islamic art. Hannah received her Master’s degree in Museum and Gallery Practice from University College London and her Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Arabic from Emory University. She also studied Islamic art and Arabic at Al-Akhawayn University in Morocco and has lived and traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and South Asia.
