AN ART DECO ENAMEL, ONYX AND DIAMOND CYLINDRICAL CIGARETTE AND VANITY CASE, BY JANESICH
Designed as a striped white enamel and gold cylindrical case with onyx terminals, rose-cut diamond detail and cabochon sapphire or rose-cut diamond push-pieces, each terminal opening to reveal either a pill compartment or vesta compartment with strike-a-light, the centre opening to reveal a fitted mirror, lipstick holder, cigarette filter and hidden cigarette compartment, suspended from an oval-link chain and diamond eternity ring holder, circa 1920, 11.0 x 4.0 x 2.5 cm., with French assay marks, in its original Janesich brown leather fitted case
