The icon traditionally painted and covered with a repoussé silver-gilt oklad, the filigree robes profusely set with seed-pearls, the cloisonné enamel haloes and spandrels decorated in blue, red, green and white with foliate, floral and geometric designs, the border repoussé and engraved with scrolling foliage -- 31.3 cm high
