by the State Porcelain Factory, with blue overglaze mark of hammer and sickle, dated 1921, signed with Cyrillic initials Z.B.K. and cross within a square for Zinaida Kobyletskaya
Circular, 'Long Live Soviet Power', painted off centre with an explosion, red flames forming a star with radiating gilt stars and sparks and red blue and green thunderbolt flashes, blue clouds of smoke extending to the cobalt border, the gilt inscription around the border, with sea green rim, marked under base
9½ in. (23.9 cm.) diam.
