Circular, the broad rim applied with seven foliage scroll 'keystones', connected by chased floral swags, on a spreading foot, with a hammered finish, marked on side, further engraved underneath 'OMAR RAMSDEN ME FECIT'

Lot Essay

Recorded in the Ramsden workbooks as order 2188, Keystones Bowl, finished 17-6-1938. The cost to produce the bowl was £22-2-2 and Ramsden noted that the 'least price' as 35 guineas.
