Circular and with a crimped rim, cast and chased in high relief with flowers and foliage scrolls, the centre repoussé and chased and cast with an unusual scene of Diana flanked by two hand maidens standing in a shallow foot bath with Acteon in the background, the back engraved with initials, marked indistinctly near rim

Purchased in Brazil in the 1920's and by descent.
