MARK OF PIERRE-ANTOINE FAMECHON, PARIS, 1785
Oval and with beaded rims and shell ends, on four openwork reeded scroll feet, with openwork scroll and bead bottle guards, later applied with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, each with engraved bottles with later silver-gilt stoppers, marked underneath and on base of each bottle guard, the rim and edge of bottle guards each marked with the décharge of Henry Clavel and Jean-François Kalendrin, the later stoppers apparently unmarked
