Modelled as clasped male and female hands within an openwork shaped surround with ivy leaf decoration symbolising fidelity and marriage, hallmarked London 1905, the reverse inscribed 1856-1906 "What is between us two we know: take hands and let the whole worls go" and "Untouched with any shade of years may those kind eyes forever dwell", in fitted case by Goldsmith and Silversmiths Company Ltd
