With gilt-finished movement, 17 jewels, eccentric white enamel dial with Breguet numerals, central alarm hand, surrounded by a painted polychrome pastoral scene with a multicolor gilt automaton depicting a falconer watering his horse at a trough with a lady operating a pump which flows simulated water, the huntsman raising and lowering his arm holding the hawk, the case with coin-edged band with alarm winding and setting crown, the back engraved with musical trophy on a sun-burst design surrounded by a foliate and scroll motif, the automaton and music activated by pressing a button throught the gilt cuvette along with musical keywind hole, cuvette and dial signed, cuvette numbered, with an original gilt lyre-shape winding key
