Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with applied gold Breguet numerals in 1953 and its subsequent sale on 31 August 1953. It has never been offered in public before.

Production of ref. 2457 was launched in 1950 and replaced the celebrated Calatrava reference 96 model.
