Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of this watch with silvered dial, applied gold hour markers at 6 and 12 o'clock and tachometre scale in 1938 and its subsequent sale on 30 November 1938. It has never been offered in public before.
This watch is a fine example of an early reference 130 chronograph, fitted with a very interesting and exceedingly rare silvered dial, featuring the typical late 1930s sector design and tachymetre scale, all confirmed by the Extract from the Archives.
It represents a true collector's watch with its combination of rarity, highly attractive two-tone silver sector dial, also called aviator dial, and unusual retailer's signature.
