Lot Essay

Accompanied by Girard-Perregaux International Guarantee, limited edition certificate, brochures, Bucherer log book, original fitted metal presentation box and outer packaging.

To celebrate the 2007 America's Cup, Girard-Perregaux launched the "ww.tc - Valencia 2007 Platinum" model, made in a limited series of only 8 examples. Dedicated to the most glorious sailing boats of the BMW Oracle Racing Team, the USA 1976 of the Golden Gate Yacht Club in San Francisco, the watches were exclusively available at Bucherer and were handed over personally to the eight purchasers in Valencia.

Technical and elegant, the watches in the ww.tc (world wide time control) line are characterized by a single system providing the simultaneous reading of local time and the time in all 24 time zones.

The ww.tc - Valencia 2007 is distinguished by the banner of the Golden Gate Yacht Club on the outer ring indicating the names of 23 world cities. Similarly, the time zone of Western Europe is symbolized by the city of Valencia.

The presentation box was created exclusively in honour of the collaboration between Girard-Perregaux and the BMW Oracle Racing team.
