The nickel-finished fully jewelled movement with pivoted detent escapement and Potter's patented bridge design, large bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel helical hairspring, free sprung regulator, glazed dust cover, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, in plain circular case with engraved initials to both sides, engraved inscription to the inside front cover, case signed and stamped with Potter's patented trademark, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

The present watch is fitted with two of Potter's patented inventions, the design of the watch plate and especially the pivoted detent escapement, base of his famous chronometer movements.
