soft-ground etching and aquatint, circa 1880, on Arches, Breeskin's third (final) state, with full margins, surface soiling (particularly in the margins), R. Hartshorne's inkstamp at the reverse of the lower right image (slightly showing through), pale mat and time staining, a stain at the upper right margin edge, a small tear at the center right margin edge, paper loss at the upper left margin edge, glue remains along the reverse of the right margin edge, soiling on the reverse, otherwise in good condition
