drypoint in sepia, circa 1890, on Vanderley, a rich yet delicate impression with strong burr, Breeskin's fourth (final) state, (the edition was 25), signed in pencil, with full margins (deckle along three sides), minor surface soiling, occasional soft handling creases, a few pale scattered foxmarks, a foxmark at the lower edge of the figure's skirt, the R. Hartshorne inkstamp at the reverse of the lower right image edge (slighty showing through), the palest time staining, hinge and glue remains at the reverse of the upper margin corners, otherwise in good condition
