etching, 1934, on Arches, signed in ink, annotated 'III E.', a proof after steel-facing but before the edition of 250 (not mentioned by Baer; there were also 50 with wider margins), with margins, minor surface soiling, the platemark worn, occasional soft rubbing, a ½-in. repaired tear at the lower left margin edge, a ¼-in. tear at the upper right margin edge, a few small creases in the margins, otherwise in good condition, framed
