Two antique enamel brooches
The first inset with a circular plaque depicting a young lady within a paste and blue enamel surround to a later frame with marcasite set bow surmount and foliate detail, the plaque and surround probably adapted from an 18th century pocket watch case, the mount late 19th century, some marcasite deficient; the second a Swiss enamel, the cut-cornered rectangular plaque depicting two lovers in a glade observed by cupid, to a simple mount with corded wire detail and later fine chain suspension, possibly originally a box lid, circa 1820
