marked Fabergé, workmaster's mark of Victor Aarne, St. Petersburg, circa 1885, with scratched inventory number 1147
The oval frame with conforming seed-pearl bezel, surrounded by a band of translucent blue enamel over radiating wavy ground, with gadrooned border, surmounted by a ribbon, ivory back with shaped scroll strut, marked on the rim and strut, in original fitted wooden case, stamped in the cover in Russian 'K. Fabergé St. Petersburg Moscow' with the Imperial warrant
