According to the family the two following lots (382 and 383) were purchased from Eliakim in 1950s. Eliakim Le Caire was the most prestigious jewellery salon in Cairo during the 1940s and 50s, offering only the finest objects. In the mid 1950s, they opened a branch in Paris to serve their European clientele.
