A RARE CAT'S EYE ALEXANDRITE AND DIAMOND RING

Set with an oval-shaped cat's eye alexandrite weighing approximately 20.70 carats, to the pavé-set alexandrite surround and half-hoop, mounted in 18k white and oxidised gold, ring size 5½

With report no. 0706689 dated 2 July 2007 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 20.70 carat cat's eye alexandrite is a natural chrysoberyl, colour change in daylight: bluish-green, in incandescent light: purple, with additional comment stating that this gemstone displays a distinct colour-change combined with a well-centered and pronounced chatoyancy

With report no. GRS2007-061523 dated 8 June 2007 from the Gem Research Swiss Lab stating that the 20.70 carats cat's eye alexandrite is a natural chrysoberyl, of Sri Lanka origin, color changing from bluish-green (daylight) to "salmon-red" (incandescent light), with no indication of treatments
