MARK OF AUCOC, PARIS, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Comprising: seven various oblong or circular boxes and jars, one containing a tapering cup and stand with detachable ivory handle, four glass bottles with silver covers, a tapering flask and a hand mirror, each with engine-turned decoration and applied with monogram 'HR', also with ivory clothes-brush, two hair-brushes, a shoe-horn, a small brush and a pair of glove-stretchers, and a toothbrush, three combs, a pair of hair-tongs, a travelling inkpot, a thimble and fourteen writing and manicure instruments, marked on boxes, jars, covers, thimble and hand mirror, the bottle covers plated,, all in brass-bound burr-walnut veneered wood case, the interior of the cover with mirror, the exterior inset with the initials 'HR'
