Certain elements in this unpublished composition, among them the central bowls and the crayfish on a plate, recur in a still-life, dated to circa 1640, in the Musée des Beaux Arts, Le Havre (see B. Hahn-Woernle, Sebastian Stoskopff, Stuttgart, 1996, pp. 254-5, no. 63, illustrated).
