Marked Fabergé, workmaster's mark of Victor Aarne, St. Petersburg, 1896-1904, scratched inventory number 7527
Rectangular with outset corners, enameled in translucent royal blue over a wavy guilloché ground within a beaded border, applied with cast and chased openwork foliate motifs in the Old Russian style, with stepped bezel now enclosing a mirror, with scroll strut, in a fitted Wartski case, marked on lower rim and strut
14 1/8 in. (36 cm.) high, 10 in. (24 cm.) wide
