Accompanied by an Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirming the date of manufacture as 1945 and its subsequent sale on March 1st of the following year.

According to our research the present watch has never before appeared at auction. It is one of only 2 examples of the reference 1503 in stainless steel and pink gold known to the market

The reference 1503 was introduced to the market in 1941 and remained in production until at least 1950.
