Designed as a shield-shaped mauve enamel plaque, enhanced by gold and rose-cut diamond peacock heads, decorated with applied pale blue and white enamel hydrangea blossoms, with rose-cut diamond pistils and gold petals and stems, suspending a diamond briolette, mounted in 18k gold, circa 1900, with French assay mark, in a Boucheron brown leather fitted case
