The very well-carved Guanyin of icy colourless material suffused with a section of brilliant emerald green colour and very good translucency, depicting the Goddess of Mercy sitting on a lotus flower and holding a child, symbolising 'may the Guanyin bring you a son', to the wooden stand, carving approximately 46.36 x 30.68 x 17.47 mm x 17.47 mm
With certificate KJ33172 dated 25 March 2008 from Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory stating that the carving is natural jadeite and no polymer is detected
