Accompanied by report no. 0610135 dated 19 October 2006 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 15.73 carat paraiba is natural elbaite tourmaline
Accompanied by a note stating that the bright vivid blue and green 'Paraiba colours' (sometimes also referred to as 'electric blue' or 'neon blue' in the trade) are caused by varying amounts of the elements copper and manganese. The bright vivid blue and green 'Paraiba colours' have not been seen in any other gemstone variety
