Cyrillic mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov with the Imperial Warrant, Moscow, 1908-1917
Ovoid, with shaded enamel vari-coloured scrolling flowers on cream and burgundy grounds within turquoise beaded borders, opening to form two egg-cups on similar flared bases contained within, fully marked; the cylindrical beaker decorated with blue, green, turquoise, white and red geometrical and stylized floral design within, on gilt ground, the base engraved with Cyrillic monogram A Ya N 1911., marked under base
the beaker 2 7/8 in. (7 cm.) high; the egg 2¾ in. (6.8 cm.) high
