The IWC Grande Complication, launched in 1990, is dubbed as "one of the smallest and easiest to operate complicated mechanical wristwatches ever built", has a total of 659 mechanical parts and features 21 functions and displays. Drawing on the experience and knowledge of the watchmakers at the IWC workshops in Schaffhausen, this masterpiece took seven years to develop. Production is limited to 50 pieces per year.
