AN ANTIQUE SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BROOCH
The pear-shaped sapphire weighing 20.83 carats surrounded by four old-cut diamonds weighing 3.97, 3.85, 3.72 and 3.29 carats at the cardinal points, with six smaller diamonds between, mounted in platinum and gold, circa 1900, 4.0 cm long
Accompanied by report No. 51241 dated 18 April 2008 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the sapphire is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating
