A FINE ANTIQUE EMERALD AND DIAMOND BROOCH
The central square-shaped emerald with five stone old-cut diamond panels to the cardinal points and square-shaped emeralds to each angle, mounted in platinum and gold, with pendant fittings, circa 1900, 4.7 cm wide, with French assay marks for gold
Accompanied by report No. 51240 dated 17 April 2008 from the SSEF Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the emerald calculated to weigh 6.60 carats is of Colombian origin, with minor indications of oil in fissures; the remaining emeralds are of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity modification
