A BRISLINGTON DELFT DATED POLYCHROME ROYALIST CHARGER

The pale-blue ground with a central ochre, blue and ermine-lined crown above the date 1685 in manganese within a broad border of manganese-outlined dark and pale-blue foliage, the underside pierced for hanging and with a buff slip and lead glaze, crack at 4 o'clock towards the right hand side of the crown and with associated rim chip to the underside, some minute rim flaking
