London Knees (A. & P. 51)
sculpture cast in flexible latex and coated in polyurethane, 1966, two knees with their base and the complete set of three folders containing postcards, reproductions and notes related to The Knees as London Monument Project, each knee stamped with initials and dated on the underside of each leg, the justification on an envelope signed in pencil and numbered 61/120 (there were also 10 artist's proofs), published by Editions Alecto in association with Neuendorf Verlag, London, 1968, a ½-in. scratch in the lower part of the left knee (with associated minor paint loss), a few scuffs in the right knee (with slight associated discoloration), the postcards, reproductions and notes with the palest time staining, otherwise each in good condition, original felt grey bags, housed in buckram-covered case with title and date printed in black on the top (minor fading and wear). 11½ x 17 x 7½ in. (292 x 432 x 191 mm.)
