Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with blue dial, applied white gold indexes and white gold bracelet in 1977 and its subsequent sale on 31 August 1978. Furthermore delivered with a Patek Philippe burgundy presentation box.

The present watch has never been offered in public before and is believed to be the only second example of reference 3739/2 in white gold to appear at auction to date.

Reference 3739 was launched in 1978 and remained in production until the mid 1980s.
