Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1968 and its subsequent sale on 16 January 1969. Furthermore delivered with the invoice for the overhaul of the watch by the Isshin Dokei Co. Ltd. Service Center, Patek Philippe's agent in Japan, for the amount of 103.950 Yen on 4 April 2006.

This watch has never been offered in public before and is preserved in very good overall condition.

Reference 3445 was in production from 1961 to 1981 and is Patek Philippe's first calendar model made in series. The white gold examples were available with a silvered brushed dial with black hard enamel Roman numerals, white matte dial or blue brushed dial, the latter two with applied white gold baton numerals and white gold feuille hands.
