With Patek Philippe Certificates of Origin both in English/French as well as in Japanese, Registered Guarantee Card dated 28 November 1989, Isshin Dokei Co. Ltd. - Patek Philippe Japan Service Center bill dated 7 December 2005 and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1986 and its subsequent sale on 21 November 1986. Furthermore delivered with a blue velvet covered Patek Philippe 150 Years - Tradition is our Future box containing seven LPs of concerts organized by Patek Philippe in the 1980s, brochure "Gala Evenings" and "Le Temps et la Musique".

Reference 3923 in stainless steel was made in a limited series of 150 examples to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of Patek Philippe and exclusively for the Japanese market. The Patek Philippe 150 Years box was also made in a small for the firm's 150th Anniversary in 1989 and given as a present to Patek Philippe's very important clients. The box pays tribute to Patek Philippe's gala evenings "Le Temps et la Musique" comprising concert and recital tours, organized regularly to forge contacts between people of common interests.

Never been offered at auction before and furthermore the first reference 3923 in stainless steel to appear in public to date, the rarity of this watch is enhanced by its excellent, like new condition - recently overhauled at the workshops of Patek Philippe, it is still retaining the protective International Customer Service sticker to the back.

Reference 3923 was launched in 1986 and discontinued in 1999. The model belongs to the Calatrava series, the standard production was available in yellow and pink gold case. The stainless steel version was made upon special request for Patek Philippe's retailer Isshin Dokei Co. Ltd. in Tokyo.
