With Urban Jürgensen Certificate of Origin dated 14 October 1999, operating instructions, original fitted wooden presentation box and outer packaging. The watch is in like new condition and has a one year guarantee valid from the day of sale.
In production from late 1999 until 2002, Urban Jürgensen's Reference 9, the successor of Reference 2, was designed following a special request from one of the firm's faithful clients: A young computer software designer wanted a variation of the Reference 2 perpetual calendar wristwatch with indicating the day of the week and the month instead of the usual twin apertures on the standard watch, resulting in a classical wristwatch of timeless elegance.
The model was made in an extremely small series of only 10 examples in platinum and 40 examples in yellow gold.
