comprising 88 etchings, 1743-1757, including plates from the Prima Parte di Architetture, Opere Varie di Architettura, Lettere di Giustificazione, and complete sets of Carceri, Trofei di Ottaviano Augusto and Antichità Romane, on laid paper, mostly watermark Fleur-de-Lys in a Double Circle (Robison 35 and 41), good impressions, with wide margins, mostly the full sheets with deckle edges, bound, each sheet with the stamp of the Edinburgh Museum of Science and Art verso, some minor foxing mainly in the margins, some folded plates with offsetting, time staining, the largest sheets soiled at the lower edges, a few sheets with other, minor defects, generally in good condition, within an 18th century half-morocco binding, with the author's name and the title Opere Varie and the date 1750 in gilt on the spine, the front board loose(book)
