A silver tea-caddy set
Cyrillic mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1887, the shovel marked 1886
Comprising two caddies of upright square form with cut corners, one with hinged cover the other of bottle form with detachable cover and stopper, a sugar shovel, nippers, strainer and lemon fork, each engraved with crowned initials AH, fully marked, in original wooden case with presentation plaque on the upper cover, the drop front stamped inside with the Imperial warrant and in Cyrillic 'Ovchinnikov'
The larger caddy 5½ in. (14 cm.) high
The cover inscription translates as: 'Patriotic Institution/AN [crowned]/21 March 1888'. (6)
