marked Fabergé, workmaster's initials indistinct, St. Petersburg, 1896-1908
Rectangular, the cover enamelled in translucent deep blue over a waved ground and applied with rose-diamond interlaced LL's within an oval and trellis border, the depicting three notes on a treble clef within an oval, with tied laurel branches beneath and ribbon-bow cresting suspending floral festoons of blue basse-taille enamel, the sides with similar laurel festoons, the interior with two hinged compartments and mirror, marked in base and on interior compartments
