The cigarette case was formerly offered as lot 630 in the sale "Property fron the Collection of Her Royal Highness The Princess Margaret Countess of Snowden" 14 June 2006, Christie's London and was originally sold with a gold pill-box and a gilt-metal mirror. The lot is accompanied by a photocopy of the Certificate of Provenance.
