Further Details
This is the only shot taken during the famous photographic sessions known as The Last Sitting in which a cameo of Marilyn in full frontal nudity was made. Stern recounts: 'I started to shoot. This was the way I'd wanted her all along. Her beautiful body shone through the harlequin scarf in a tantalizing, abstract hide-and-seek. Until she dropped it. And I shot it. Just for myself. One glimpse. One stolen frame. We were finished. It was almost seven in the morning. We'd been working for twelve hours.'
